The Culver Studios

The Culver Studios is an American Independent Motion Picture and Television studio located in Culver City, California, which is located near Sony Studios. The iconic studio is considered a mini major by Hollywood standards, and has many owners and many names over the years since being founded in 1918. From Ince Studios of the silent era, to Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s Desilu-Culver Studios to what is today.

Now owned and operated by Hackman Capital Partners, the Culver Studios is now under a massive renovation, with Amazon Studios, IMDb, Amazon Video and advertising on a massive scale, being the center of attention, leasing over 280,000 square feet of office space and mixed-use development by the year of 2020. The legendary Culver Studios will live up to its reputation when the renovation is complete.
