The Beverly Center is one of the most popular indoor shopping malls in Los Angeles, California, since the early nineteen eighties. The Beverly Center has catered to a multitude of shoppers from tourists of Southeast Asia, a countless number of Celebrities, to the guy or girl next door just trying to find a shirt, blouse or sweater to wear on their next job interview.
Unlike the neighboring Beverly Connection that sits directly across the street, the Beverly Center has up-scale shops and anchor stores, such as Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Tiffany &Co., Victoria’s Secret, Forever 21 and Sephora. As you can see, the Beverly Center is a one stop shopping experience for the ladies. But it doesn’t stop there, the Beverly Center has plenty of shops for men as well, such as Armani Exchange, Foot Locker, Hugo Boss, Diesel, and POLITIX, and the Ferrari Store just to name a few.
With Shopping malls on a downward spiral in recent years, party due to the internet and the newfound ways of marketing, the open-air shopping malls in Los Angeles seem to do quite well. This is because when you add an up-scale environment and accent the fact that LA is all about sunshine, this tends to work. Like the Grove LA, the Santa Monica Place just completely tore off roof, and the newly remodeled Westfield Century City. The Beverly Center, however just bet $500 million that people still want to shop indoors with a major renovation. Now they haven’t removed the roof, but let’s hope they will at least bring back the Movie Theater. Until then, visit the Beverly Center soon, especially during the Holidays! And tell them Socialbilitty sent you!
