The Hollywood Palladium was originally built by filmproducer Maurice Cohen and funded by LA Times publisher Norman Chandler in 1940, at the time where the original Paramount Pictures lot was located. That was a long time ago, and through many renovations, this venue still is relevant today. Located near Argyle and El Centro avenues on the Sunset Strip, the Hollywood Palladium was inducted into the national registry, never to be torn apart.
