Panavision is an American Motion Picture manufacturer and rental company since the early 1950s founded by the late great Robert Gottschalk, a two-time Academy Award Winner and inventor of the MGM Camera 65 widescreen photographic system.
Panavision is most famous for the PANAFLEX PLATINUM CAMERA – PFX-P 35mm Film Camera, as well as digital film and video cameras. They are in direct comparison to Arri Cameras and lenses, Sony Pro Motion Picture Camera, or JVC and Panasonic.
