The Burbank Studios is a Broadcasting and Media Production facility that was originally NBC Studios built in 1952, designed and constructed by none other than the Radio Corporation of America (RCA). The Television studio has produced countless television shows over the years, such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Days of Our Lives, NBC News and The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and then Jay Leno to name a few.
However, in 2014, NBCUniversal owned by Comcast announced a major move, and relocated some offices to Universal Studios Lot, and then majority of programming to the NBC Studios in New York City. The Television studio is located in Burbank, and it was renamed the Burbank Studios after the City of which it stands no doubt, the studio is currently owned by Worthe Real Estate Group and houses the iHeartRadio Theater, and the Blizzard Arena, and the Extra Television Show amongst the many new TV shows currently on air.
The studio is slated to change ownership per se once again announced in 2019, the Warner Bros will acquire the studio in 2023. Let’s just wait and see what new programming the Warner Bros partial acquisition will bring, considering the new technology upgrades it will experience by then.
