Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles is America’s Soul Food favorite pastime, with the main location in Hollywood near Sunset Gower Studios, no one would ever consider Chicken and Waffles such a perfect match. With seven locations and counting to serve you, plenty of celebrities have dined in to eat some chicken.

However, this location on Pico Blvd, which sits diagonally accros the street from Meruelo Studios is the most famous, mainly because when our nation’s our 44th President of the United States, President Barack Obama was in office, he paid a visit to this Roscoe’s on Pico. The Westside of LA couldn’t’ have been any happier. It’s was an amazing day because most sitting Presidents would not pay a visit to a local Soul Food Restaurant, but Obama did.
